For a week I had the opportunity to use the Kipon Lens Mount Adapter on my Fujifilm X-E2. Therefore I updated the latest firmware Ver. 2.00. A very helpful update in this case is the “Selectable colors in Focus Peak Highlight”.
Having the Kipon Lens Mount Adapter on your Fuji, your are able to mount old aperture ring lenses. I’ve tested my Nikon 50mm f/1.4 AI-S.
The Digital Split Image or Focus Peak Highlight are very useful as manual focusing assistant.
Still it’s hard to focus correctly, while photographing moving subjects like kids 🙂
